MPTA Helps Marine Parents, Michelle & Robert, Attend Graduation

On Wednesday, November 26, 2025, Marine Parents Travel Assistance sent Michelle & Robert, Parents of a recruit, to Parris Island for the recruit's graduation from Golf Company to become a Marine.
THANK YOU!!! With your assistance, we were able to attend our daughter's graduation the day before Thanksgiving. We did get there in time for Family Day, and let me tell you.... the tears that flowed that day seemed never-ending. The emotional roller coaster I had been on for the last 13 weeks didn't stop when I got to embrace my only daughter, my Marine! To say her father and I are proud is an understatement. We have had a tough last couple of years, as I had my last immunotherapy treatment on 8/22/25 for stage 3 Melanoma, so I had already not been working regular hours, which is really difficult, and my husband and I are both self-employed. This program provided us with the assistance we needed when we needed it the most. I can't imagine not being there in person for my daughter, so THANK YOU! God Bless!
