MPTA Helps Marine Mother, Ahshiyah, Attend Graduation

On Friday, September 20, 2024, Marine Parents Travel Assistance sent Ahshiyah, the Mother of a recruit, to San Diego for the recruit's graduation from Fox Company to become a Marine.
Attending family day and graduation for me was amazing. I met some amazing people and now new family members. The anticipation of seeing my Marine was overwhelming. I lost my mom, his grandmother, in April of this year, so this experience and accomplishment for our now Marine means a lot. I am grateful for the support I have received during this time from Marine Parents and from everyone who has sent prayers and encouraging words to our family. Our son is amazing and has a bright future ahead. Ahshiyah, New Marine Mom
